Book 22: Final review
Have you finished reading our selection for March, Interpreter of Maladies? Did you like it? If you also joined us in reading The Namesake last year, did you prefer one over the other? How about the format, did you enjoy the collection of short stories vs. our usual novel format? And really what I want to know, did you try the Ginger Punch? Because I had it three times last month. That's like a whole year's worth of sugar, you know.

I finished this book a month late, but am so glad that I read it. I really enjoyed it, and love Lahiri's writing style. Her words are so smooth and they paint a portrait of characters and places that's so vivid and still. I usually prefer novels to short stories, but also enjoyed the brief glimpses into a character's life that this format allows. She's an excellent writer.
And, as I've said about 10 times already, I can't stop making the ginger fruit punch. And keeping it all to myself.
